In the 11th century, the great Hindu priest Markandya Rsi, was on pilgrimage from Ubud to the great Mother Temple of Bersakih, on Mount Agung. On the way he noted some sacred places and one of these was the holy hill where Ananda Cottages now stand, a happy and holy place. Ananda means Bliss in the ancient Sanskrit language.
Ananda Cottages grew over the decades to the family hotel it is now. New bungalows have been added through the gardens and the rice paddies, with halls for Yoga retreats and pools.
Bali is not simply a destination.
It is a living temple.
For centuries, this land has been devoted to prayer, ceremony, and relationship with the unseen. Daily offerings, incense, water blessings, and ritual are woven into everyday life. The atmosphere itself supports remembrance.
Coming to Bali for Mind & Meditation Level 2 is a conscious choice to step out of the pace of modern life and into a field that naturally slows you down, opens you, and brings you back into rhythm with yourself.

We will meditate in ancient temples and sacred spaces, allowing the practice to be held by land that has been prayed on for generations. This environment amplifies your capacity to listen inwardly, to enter stillness more easily, and to experience meditation as lived reality rather than concept.

Sat Siri (Rachel Dougherty), a former ballet dancer with the Australian Ballet, is a trailblazing, next-generation Kundalini Yoga teacher, international trainer, and mentor with over twenty-three years of teaching experience and thirty years of dedicated yoga and meditation practice.
For the past ten years, Sat Siri served as a KRI Lead Trainer Internationally, mentoring and certifying hundreds of teachers around the world. She originally opened the first Kundalini Yoga studio in Sydney, Australia, and now travels internationally teaching and leading Trainings and Retreats in places such as Bali, Maui, Mexico, and beyond.
Sat Siri is a teacher of teachers, as well as a guide for devoted practitioners at every stage of the path. Her classes and trainings are known for being uplifting, challenging, and profoundly healing. She has a rare ability to translate the more esoteric dimensions of Kundalini Yoga into practical, embodied tools for everyday life, helping students not only understand the teachings, but live them.
Beyond titles, Rachel (Sat Siri) is a mother, mentor, embodiment coach, and lifelong spiritual seeker. At her core, she is a deeply sensitive and compassionate human who loves walking with people through both the dark nights and the rebirths that follow — holding tender space for grief, breakdown, clarity, and return.
Sat Siri currently resides in Los Angeles with her exuberant daughter, Prem — who, she says, remains her greatest teacher.
With energetic passion, love, and joy, Guruwant (Daphna Dor) has been sharing the healing technology of Kundalini Yoga for over 30 years through classes, immersions, trainings, and retreats in her hometown of New York, her current home of 20 years in Bali , and internationally.
In 2014, she served as the coordinator and producer of the first KRI-approved Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training in Bali. Since then, she has continued her path as a dedicated trainer of this transformational technology. Having served on multiple international Level 1 and Level 2 trainings around the world, she is currently a Professional Trainer with KRI.
A heart centered teacher, she is known for her dynamic sessions to serve students with the power of mindful self-experience, believing and teaching that we all have the wisdom, the light and the love within to manifest our highest calling!
Alongside her path as a Kundalini Yoga practitioner and teacher, Guruwant also facilitates Chakra Dance, yin yoga, and is a certified Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist.
A devoted student of ancient wisdom traditions, she enjoys weaving these teachings into her work — and into the ongoing dance of life.

Short answer: YES! You are welcome to immerse yourself in this experience of deep meditation for your personal development and journey.
To receive credit towards KRI Level 2 certification you must hold a KRI Level 1 certificate. If you do not yet have a Level 1 KRI certificate you can still take the course. You can apply one Level 2 module before you complete the KRI Level 1 course and still have it count towards your Level 2 certification.
If you take more than one Level 2 module before completing your KRI Level 1 program, you will not receive a letter of completion, and hence they will not “count” towards your eventual Level Two certification.
